Health Services Division

The two major programs operated within the Health Services Division are the In-Home Services Program and the Women’s Health Services Program. The In-Home Services Program enables elderly persons to remain in their homes while receiving the care and attention they need. This program is operated in Barton, Bates, Benton, Cass, Cedar, Henry, Hickory, Jackson, Johnson, Lafayette, Morgan, Pettis, Saline, St. Clair, and Vernon counties.

The Women’s Health Services program provides confidential and personalized care at affordable prices. Services include breast and pelvic examinations, pap smears, fertility counseling, birth control, and contraceptive counseling. The Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Project is also operated by this division. The clinic is open five days per week in Appleton City, along with eleven mobile clinics in Bates, Benton, Cass, Henry, St. Clair, and Vernon counties.
